3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 7,2006 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Local Election Warrant: <br /> The Warrant for the State Primary to be held on Tuesday, September 19, <br /> 2006 was presented to the Selectmen for approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to approve and execute the <br /> Warrant for the September 19,2006 State Primary on this date; <br /> Monday,August 7,2006. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalan. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Notice of Retirement—Animal Control Officer: <br /> Correspondence was received from June Daley on July 31,2006 giving <br /> notice of her intent to retire form the position of Animal Control Officer <br /> on September 8, 2006. <br /> • Motion made by Selectman Cahalan to accept the retirement of June <br /> Daley as Animal Control Officer with regrets. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Myers. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Acceptance of Resignation—South Cape Beach Advisory Committee: <br /> The Selectmen were in receipt of a resignation from John W. Cramer,Jr. <br /> dated July 18,2006 from the South Cape Beach State Park Advisory <br /> Committee effective July 18,2006. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to accept with regret,the <br /> resignation of John W. Cramer,Jr. from the South Cape Beach State <br /> Park Advisory Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
