5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 11,2006 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Review and Execution of Annual Town Meeting Warrant: <br /> The Board of Selectmen conducted final review of the October 16, 2006 <br /> Annual Town Meeting Warrant. The following Articles were acted upon; <br /> Article#8: To fund the repair of the water access located on Riverside <br /> Road, $15,000. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to endorse Article 8 relative to <br /> the transfer of Funds from the Waterways Improvement Account to <br /> the Riverside Road Way account. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: -Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Article# 19: To vote to reauthorize participation in the Community <br /> Septic Management Program and the Massachusetts <br /> Water Pollution Abatement Trust(MWPAT)for the <br /> purpose of funding wastewater improvements. The <br /> MWPAT provides approximately$660;000 at 0%interest <br /> to the Town of Mashpee to assist homeowners in <br /> complying with Title V. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to endorse Article 19 to <br /> participate in the Community Septic Management Program and <br /> Water Pollution Abatement Trust. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cook. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Article#32: Changes to bring the Town's Code in line with the Public <br /> Access Board, Regulations and Laws as well as correcting <br /> a typographical error. All changes are defined in bold print <br /> on the warrant. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to endorse Article 32 to Amend <br /> the Town Code,Chapter 170 as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
