2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 16, 2005 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Request of Mashnee_Commons--One Day Wine& Malt License: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Mashpee Community Concert <br /> Committee dated May 1, 2005 requesting the Selectmen approve their <br /> request for a one day wine&malt license for the annual Mashpee Night at <br /> the Pops event to be held on Saturday,July 30, 2005. <br /> Representation from the non-profit corporation discussed the popular <br /> event held in Mashpee Commons. The free concert by the Cape <br /> Symphony Orchestra is followed by an outstanding fireworks display and <br /> is open to the public. The Selectmen were requested to waive all Town <br /> fees associated to the event with the exception of the cost of Police and <br /> Fire personnel. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to grant a One Day Wine& <br /> Malt License to the Mashpee Community Concert Committee on <br /> Saturday,July 30,2005 (rain date July 31),and waive all Town fees <br /> associated to the event with the exception of the cost of Police and Fire <br /> • personnel. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Myers. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
