4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 10,2004 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Recommendation for Bid Acce tance---Transfer Station: (continued) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to include Option las defined in the <br /> Transfer Station contract with WeCare Transportation, Inc. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: 3-1. Motion carries. <br /> Selectmen Myers in opposition. <br /> It was agreed that the opening of the Transfer Station on Tuesdays would <br /> be negotiated with the contractor prior to the renewal on April 1, 2005. <br /> Discussion followed with respect to Option 1 and to modify the intended <br /> opening and closing months that would occur on Tuesdays. The DPW <br /> Director noted that Tuesdays are historically, the lowest volume day. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing cont'd—Great Marsh Kayak Tours, Inc., d/b/a GMKT <br /> Limousine Service--Lv_ery.License: <br /> Selectman Cahalane opened the Public Hearing on the application of Great <br /> Marsh Kayak Tours, Inc., d/b/a GMKT Limousine Service to operate a <br /> Livery Service at 20 Brewster Road, Mashpee. <br /> The Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing notice as <br /> published. Mr. Robert Wilds, owner of Great Marsh Kayak Tours was <br /> present to discuss the license application with the Selectmen. <br /> Correspondence was received from Sergeant David Ensko dated March <br /> 31, 2004 recommending approval. <br /> Being no comment,the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3.0. <br /> Selectman Myers abstained. <br /> I <br />
