8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 24, 2004 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Recommendation for Bid Acceptance—Food&Drink Concessions at <br /> Town Beaches: <br /> Three companies responded to the request for proposals for the operation <br /> of concessions at the Town beaches. This year's bid was again combined <br /> for South Cape Beach and AttaquinlJohn's Pond Parks. The Director of <br /> Leisure Services detailed the bid response in a memorandum to the <br /> Selectmen dated May 19, 2004. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the bid of Hyannis Ice <br /> Cream in the amount of$4,763 for the operation of concessions at the <br /> Town Beaches as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Myers. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Request to Waive Fees—Mashpee Housing Authority: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Mashpee Housing Authority dated <br /> April 30, 2004 requesting the Town waive all fees associated to the <br /> building of their first affordable housing units located on the corner of <br /> Baltic Avenue and Falmouth Road, Mashpee. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to waive all Town Fees associated <br /> to the Mashpee Housing Authority for their affordable housing units <br /> as requested. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Acceptance of Resignation—Local Inspector: <br /> Correspondence was received from Richard Anderson dated May 12, 2004 <br /> resigning from the position of Assistant Building Inspector effective May <br /> 14, 2004, <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the resignation of <br /> Richard Anderson as Assistant Building Inspector effective May 14, <br /> 2004. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
