7 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 14, 2004 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Discussion of Warrant Articles: (continued) <br /> The Selectmen agreed to allow Article#12 to remain on the Town <br /> Meeting warrant as presented. The School Department would be <br /> requested to remit a memorandum to the Selectmen regarding their <br /> intention to fund the School Resource Officer position. <br /> (Correspondence received on 10/15/04 from the School Committee <br /> indicated that they have voted to fund the sum of$11,738,which <br /> represents one half of the salary for the School Resource Officer for the <br /> remainder of FY05). <br /> Frank Hicks Drive Realignment: <br /> The filial design for roadway improvements, landscaping and the <br /> signalization of Frank Hicks Drive and Jobs Fishing Road was presented <br /> to the Board of Selectmen for review and approval. <br /> It was noted that the DPW, Police and Fire Departments gave input into <br /> the final design proposal brought forth by Mashpee Commons Limited <br /> Partnership. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the final design as <br /> brought forth by Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership for <br /> roadway improvements, landscaping and the signalization of Frank <br /> Hicks Drive and Jobs Fishing Road. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Execution of State Election Warrant: <br /> The Board of Selectmen received for approval and signatures,the Warrant <br /> for the State Election to be held on November 2, 2004. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve and execute the <br /> Warrant for the State Election to the held on Tuesday,November 2, <br /> 2004. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
