f <br /> 9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 4, 2002 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearin —Livery License—Diana& Mark Westland: <br /> Selectman Taylor opened the Public Hearing on the application of Diana <br /> and Mark Westland d/b/a Destinations, for a Livery License to operate at 6 <br /> Cayuga Avenue, Mashpee. <br /> Joyce Mason, Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing notice as <br /> published. Mark Westland was present to discuss the license application <br /> with the Board and interested public. It was noted that all necessary <br /> paperwork is in order for the Selectmen's approval. <br /> The applicant has requested a license for(1) vehicle. The Selectmen were <br /> in receipt of correspondence from Police Sergeant Ensko dated October <br /> 17, 2002 recommending approval. <br /> Selectman Taylor opened the hearing to solicit comment. <br /> A Cayuga Avenue resident voiced concern with respect to parking of the <br /> livery vehicle and maintaining access to her mail box. <br /> Being no further comment, the Board motioned to close the Public <br /> Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the application of <br /> Diana and Mark Westland d/b/a Destinations,for a Livery License to <br /> operate(1)vehicle at 6 Cayuga Avenue,Mashpee contingent upon <br /> keeping the vehicle on the property of 6 Cayuga Avenue. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
