3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 4, 2002 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Recommendation for Appointment—Principal Clerk/Tax Office: <br /> Selectman Taylor and Selectman Cahalane stepped down for the above <br /> referenced agenda topic. <br /> It was noted that previous information requested by the Selectmen was <br /> disclosed for additional review and consideration. Kathleen Cadoret was <br /> the recommended candidate for appointment. Correspondence was <br /> received from the Personnel Administrator dated September 19, 2002 with <br /> respect to this regard. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to appoint Kathleen Cadoret to <br /> the full-time position of Principal Clerk to the Treasurer/Tax <br /> Collector Department as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Selectman Taylor, Selectman Cahalane absent for vote. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Commercial Street Connector Road: <br /> Under the Special Permit issued by the Planning Board for the South Cape <br /> Village (Talanian) shopping center project, the developer is responsible <br /> for laying out and constructing the proposed road. The road referred to as <br /> Commercial Street extends across lands owned by Mr. Talanian, Mr. <br /> Charles Rogers,the Industrial Park owners and the Town of Mashpee. <br /> In order to proceed with the.project, authorization from the Selectmen is <br /> required for Mr. Talanian to file a subdivision plan on Town owned <br /> property laying out the proposed road, as well as for road construction. <br /> Specific authorization to sign the necessary subdivision application for <br /> filing with the Planning Board is also requested in Mr. Fudala's <br /> memorandum to the Selectmen dated October 29, 2002. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the layout and filing of <br /> the Talanian subdivision plan and related road construction on <br /> property as described. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
