3 Board of Selectmen Minutes November 4, 2002 OLD BUSINESS: Recommendation for Appointment—Principal Clerk/Tax Office: Selectman Taylor and Selectman Cahalane stepped down for the above referenced agenda topic. It was noted that previous information requested by the Selectmen was disclosed for additional review and consideration. Kathleen Cadoret was the recommended candidate for appointment. Correspondence was received from the Personnel Administrator dated September 19, 2002 with respect to this regard. Motion made by Selectman Marsters to appoint Kathleen Cadoret to the full-time position of Principal Clerk to the Treasurer/Tax Collector Department as recommended. Motion seconded by Selectman Green. VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. Selectman Taylor, Selectman Cahalane absent for vote. NEW BUSINESS: Commercial Street Connector Road: Under the Special Permit issued by the Planning Board for the South Cape Village (Talanian) shopping center project, the developer is responsible for laying out and constructing the proposed road. The road referred to as Commercial Street extends across lands owned by Mr. Talanian, Mr. Charles Rogers,the Industrial Park owners and the Town of Mashpee. In order to proceed with the.project, authorization from the Selectmen is required for Mr. Talanian to file a subdivision plan on Town owned property laying out the proposed road, as well as for road construction. Specific authorization to sign the necessary subdivision application for filing with the Planning Board is also requested in Mr. Fudala's memorandum to the Selectmen dated October 29, 2002. Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the layout and filing of the Talanian subdivision plan and related road construction on property as described. Motion seconded by Selectman Green. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.
