Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 16, 2002 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Re nest for 111F Benefits—Robert Palermo: <br /> The Chief of Police submitted a memorandum to the Selectmen dated <br /> November 25, 2002 requesting approval of Section 111F benefits under <br /> MGL, Chapter 41 for Police Sergeant Robert Palermo for injury sustained <br /> on duty. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve Section 111F <br /> benefits for Police Sergeant Robert Palermo for injury sustained on <br /> duty on November 10,2002, and offer fight duty assignment in <br /> accordance with the current bargaining agreement as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Request for Approval for Grant Application—Police Department: <br /> A grant application to allow the Mashpee Police Department to upgrade <br /> the current computer software programming was presented to the <br /> Selectmen for approval. The grant does not require matching funds. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the Police <br /> Department grant application under the Local Law Enforcement <br /> Public Safety Equipment Grant Program. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Request for Approval to Establish Eligibility List—Public Safet <br /> Dispatcher: <br /> cher: <br /> Scott Halligan, Mashpee Police Department Communications Supervisor <br /> submitted correspondence to the Selectmen dated December 11, 2002 <br /> requesting approval to establish a new eligibility list for the position of <br /> Public Safety Dispatcher. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the request of the <br /> Police Department to establish a new eligibility list for the position of <br /> Public Safety Dispatcher. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br />
