8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 16, 2002 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Request of Reverend Green—Placement of Trailer and Waiver of Fees: <br /> Correspondence was received from Reverend Cynthia Green, First <br /> Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, Inc. dated December 9, 2002 <br /> requesting approval of a temporary trailer for the Mashpee Good Neighbor <br /> Fund. Reverend Green also requested a waiver of permit fees. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to grant a Trailer Permit as <br /> referenced effective January 1, 2003 for a period of(30)days. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to waive all permit fees associated <br /> to the temporary trailer for the Mashpee Good Neighbor Fund. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Under the Town Bylaw, Chapter 163,the licensing requires the applicant <br /> to obtain approval from the Board of Health. The applicant will also be <br /> requested to review this matter with the Board of Appeals. <br /> American Lung Association—Bike Trek: <br /> The American Lung Association of MA submitted its annual request for <br /> the 2003 Autumn Escape Bike Trek in September. The trek now in its 191h <br /> year is a three-day bicycling event to raise funds to benefit the many free <br /> programs offered by the American Lung Association of Massachusetts. <br /> The request has been forwarded to applicable departments for approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to authorize the Town <br /> Administrator to approve and recognize the 2003 Autumn Bike Trek <br /> upon receipt of support from applicable regulatory departments. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br />
