Vern noted that she is relly running behind . These <br /> monies would provide for a position of 14 hours per week for the <br /> rest o.f the year . Vern noted that she is not maintaining the level <br /> of work . <br /> Article #17 seeks to appropriate and transfer $20, 000 <br /> from the Briarwood Water System Easement Account to the Briarwood <br /> Road-Taking Engineering Account to be used by the Selectmen <br /> .for engineering and legal services necessary to prepare the <br /> plans for the town to acquire private roadways in the Briarwood <br /> section . <br /> Article #18 seeks the authority for the Selectmen to purchase , <br /> take by eminent domain or receive by gift , for water supply <br /> purposes , easements on private streets and land within the <br /> Summerwood Condominium complex. The town would install water lines <br /> and there would be easements assessed . <br /> Article #19 seeks funds to be appropriated and transferred <br /> to the Water Commission Expense Account to purchase water from <br /> the Highwood Water Company . <br /> Article #20 does not involve funding . The Historical <br /> Commission wants the town to designate Route 130 from the <br /> Barnstable Town Line to the Sandwich Town Line as "Main Street" . <br /> The Historical Commission feels strongly about this Article . <br /> Artilce #21 concerns the removal of health hazards from <br /> property , and seeks to amend town by-laws by adding a section <br /> pertaining to this . <br /> Article #22 seeks to amend a town by-law so that prior to <br /> the issuance of a permit for the installation of a sewage disposal <br /> system not covered by Title 5 , an independent registered civil <br /> or sanitary engineer will be retained to review the system and <br /> hydrologic data regarding the impact of the proposed discharge . <br /> To offset the cost of this , the applicant will be assessed a fee . <br /> Article #23 was described by Murphy as a housekeeping Article . <br /> This seeks to amend the zoning map , certain areas were not zoned <br /> industrial as it had been thought initially . <br />
