Board of Selectmen <br /> March 12,2001 <br /> Page Twelve. <br /> Special Town Meeting,Warrant Review: <br /> The Town Administrator read the articles and reviewed them with the BOS. <br /> Article .1 -pay FY2000 bills. <br /> Article 2-from the Treasurer to rescind authorizations to borrow-clean up. <br /> Article 3 -$7,500 to the Principal Outside 2 1/z Account and Article 4 for$16,669 to the <br /> Interest Temporary Borrowing Outside 2'h Account-clean up. <br /> Article 5-$35,000 for Trash Expense Account-Transfer Station add on. <br /> Article.6-additional funds for Board of Health Salary/Wage Account-additional sick <br /> days and consultant differential. <br /> Article 7-Snow&ice Account-do not have final figure right now. <br /> Article S-Legal engineering account—funds needed but not sure how much. <br /> Article 9-Fire Station renovation account-not sure of figure but do not want to miss <br /> putting it on the Warrant. if there is no figure by Town Meeting they will not go ahead <br /> with it. <br /> Article 10-Library-$3,594 to fund pay-offs for some retirements thaf were not <br /> anticipated,perhaps 2 retirements. <br /> Article 11 -Harbormaster Account-put in capital budget 3 years ago for Harbormaster's <br /> building and it has expired and needs to be re-authorized because it is now a different <br /> project to incorporate the Shellfish Department. Discussion followed regarding changing <br /> location of building to be near Ockway Bay boat ramp and putting up building to house <br /> both the Harbormaster and Shellfish departments. it will probably be more expensive. <br /> Further discussion followed relative to stating in the article and the explanation the <br /> change in the project. <br /> May Town Meetin Warrant Review: <br /> The Town Administrator read the articles,as follows: <br /> Article 1—choose Burial Agent—one-year term. <br /> Article 2—Accept reports of the Town officers. <br /> Article 3—fix salaries of elected officers and money to defray the Town's expenses. <br /> Article 4-C1P Budget—it will be the final figure the BOS recommend. <br /> Article 5-Cape Cod Regional Technical High school budget. The Selectmen asked if <br /> the amount came out of the high school budget and the Town Administrator said it is <br /> separate. <br /> Article 6—Leisure Services Revolving Account—Discussion followed regarding whether <br /> to pay full-time wages out of the revolving fund or if they transfer it into the budget they <br /> can get rid of the article. <br /> Article 7-Council on Aging -Revolving fund for senior trips and educational program <br /> staff' Discussion followed regarding revolving accounts. The Town Administrator <br /> suggested if the Selectmen are not comfortable with the$7,500 figure they can vote on a <br /> lesser amount and set a maximum figure limit by the total activity of that account for the <br /> year. <br />
