Discussion followed regarding overtime and <br /> Dispatcher position. <br /> Leave in budget until the Finance Committee makes its recommendation. <br /> Fire: <br /> Communications and Communication supplies line items. Held for review. <br /> Correspondence received from Fire Chief Baker,dated March 8,2001,regarding the <br /> Communications Expense Budget Line explaining the cell phone service use under the <br /> Fire Department. <br /> Remove from hold. <br /> Harbormaster and Herring Warden: <br /> Full Time Salary Administrative line item. <br /> Chair Leveille met with Perry Ellis and he has some additional money for Herring <br /> Enforcement. <br /> Release Harbormaster and Herring Warden budgets. <br /> Health: <br /> Communication and Vehicular Supplies line item. <br /> The Assistant Town Administrator explained why the increase in communications—two <br /> phones—fax line and car phone_ <br /> The SOS questioned whether additional wages were needed in the salary account for the <br /> Assistant Health Agent,as they understood there was nothing in there. Discussion <br /> followed regarding Professional/Technical line item for$25,805 which would be to carry <br /> county contract for another year and$19,905 for consulting services that they could do <br /> without. <br /> Selectman Cabalane made motion to remove$19,905 from Health budget. <br /> Manor,secorued by selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous.5-0 <br /> Council on Aging: <br /> Part-time drivers line item. Discussion followed regarding whether the COA should have <br /> a full time driver or two part-time drivers. The Council on Aging now has two 19-hour <br /> week drivers and a separate article is in the Town Meeting warrant for a full time driver, <br /> which would be created but not funded. <br /> The Board of Selectmen is okay with two part-time driver positions in the budget. <br />
