5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 26, 2001 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Annual Town Meeting Warrant Review: <br /> Article #25: Liquor License Cap <br /> Language amended at last meeting to cap the number of licenses to the <br /> Town's seasonal population by providing one license for every 1,500 peak <br /> seasonal residents. <br /> Original language—Without Cap,but limited by the Board of Selectmen <br /> acting as the Licensing Authority for the Town of Mashpee. . <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to eliminate from Article#25, <br /> the wording: up to a maximum of one license per 1,500 persons of the <br /> estimated summer seasonal population. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Article#34: Water District Easement—Water Storage Facility <br /> Discussion followed with respect to the potential for a future radio tower <br /> at the subject site location. Additional language will be considered in the <br /> purchase agreement. <br /> Approval and Execution of Town Meeting Warrant: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve and execute the May 7, <br /> 2001 Town Meeting warrant subject to the review and approval of <br /> Town Counsel. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br />
