14 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 9, 2001 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Liaison Assignment_—_Natural Resources Committee: <br /> Selectman Green <br /> Announcements: <br /> Candidates Forum—Tuesday, April 10, 2001 <br /> 7:00 p.m. @ Town Hall <br /> Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Request for Signage: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> The K.C. Coombs School is presently seeking grant funds for the purpose <br /> of constructing a playground of the grounds of the school. Appropriate <br /> signage is a part of their grant application. The Selectmen have been <br /> requested to approve their request for signage at the Mashpee Rotary for <br /> one additional month. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to approve the request of the K.C. <br /> r Coombs School Playground Committee, and grant the signage <br /> extension at the Mashpee Rotary for one additional month. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Dialysis Clinic Closure: <br /> It was noted that the Health Care Dialysis Clinic in the Town of Falmouth <br /> is closing. The use of Town owned property would be considered in an <br /> effort to service area residents. Louise Patrick, Human Services is <br /> ,c presently reviewing this matter. <br />
