2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> July 23, 2001 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Eg uest for One-Dgy Liquor License—Casual Gourmet. <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced agenda topic. <br /> The Selectmen were in receipt of a request from the Casual Gourmet for <br /> A one-day wine and malt license for the Burch-Tompkins wedding to be <br /> held at the Southport Ballroom on August 11, 2001 from 2:00 p.m. to <br /> 8:00 p.m. Susan Bullock, co-coordinator of the wedding and responsible <br /> r party for the service of liquor was present to discuss the license <br /> application with the Board. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the One-Day Liquor <br /> License request of the Casual Gourmel for wine& malt only at the <br /> Southport Ballroom, 100 Old Barnstable Road,Mashpee on the date <br /> of August 11,2001 from 2:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Selectman Taylor, Selectman Leveille absent. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Finance Committee Correspondence: <br /> Jeff Arnold, Finance Committee Chairman was present to request the <br /> Board allow the appointment of one of its members to attend collective <br /> bargaining sessions as an ex-officio member in accordance with the <br /> Mashpee bylaw, Chapter 37, paragraph 11. <br /> It was noted that the designated Finance Committee member shall not <br /> have any voting rights, but may make recommendations to the Selectmen <br /> or to their designee. The Board agreed to the request of the Finance <br /> Committee to attend collective bargaining.sessions in ex-officio capacity <br /> as stipulated in the Town bylaw. <br />
