4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 6, 2001 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Appointment of Public Safety Dispatcher: <br /> r <br /> Carla Weymouth was the recommended eligible candidate for the 40-hour <br /> position of Public Safety Dispatcher. Ms. Weymouth presently volunteers <br /> at the Mashpee Police Department and is pursuing an Associates Degree <br /> j in Criminal Justice. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint Carl Weymouth to the <br /> full-time position of Public Safety Dispatcher as recommended <br /> ti effective upon the retirement of Gail McDonald. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Appointment of Gate Attendants: <br /> The Program Supervisor of the Leisure Services Department <br /> recommended two candidates for the position of Gate Attendant to <br /> supplement the summer beach staff. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint Chris Seifert and <br /> Adam Giassetti as Gate Attendants as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Appointment of Temporary Circulation Assistant: <br /> Diane Farrell of Mashpee was the recommended candidate for the position <br /> of Temporary Circulation Assistant. She is to fill in on an as needed basis. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint Diane Farrell as a <br /> Temporary Circulation Assistant to the Library as recommended on <br /> an as needed basis for vacations, absences and illnesses for a term not <br /> to exceed 19-hours weekly. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> i <br />
