Y p <br /> 8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 24, 2001 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing—Sign Request—Cormier's Automotive Repair: <br /> Selectman Cahalan opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> Courmier's Automotive Repair, 375 Nathan Ellis Highway, Mashpee for <br /> permission to place a sign on town property. <br /> Joyce Mason, Acting Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing <br /> notice as published. Mr. Alcide Cormier, Jr. was present to discuss the <br /> license application with the Board of Selectmen. Russell Wheeler,the <br /> Building Inspector was also in attendance. <br /> It was noted that the applicant has complied with the landscape request of <br /> the Design Review Committee. However, a Certificate of Insurance is <br /> required for the sign placement on town-owned property. <br /> Being no comment,the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the application of <br /> Courmier's Automotive Repair, 375 Nathan Ellis Highway,Mashpee <br /> for permission to place a sign on town property pending receipt of a <br /> Certificate of Insurance as referenced. <br /> r Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> r <br />
