9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 24, 2001 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Waterways Commission—Approval of Draft Letter: <br /> Correspondence was received from James Hanks, Waterways Commission <br /> Chairman dated September 12, 2001 requesting the Selectmen approve the <br /> draft letter to the Cape Cod Commission. The draft memorandum requests <br /> that the language of definitions pertaining to dredging be changed to be <br /> consistent with the outline of normal definitions. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the draft <br /> memorandum of September 12, 2001 addressed to the Cape Cod <br /> Commission relative to dredging as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Request for Two-Day Liquor License--Oktoberfest: <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced issue. <br /> Correspondence was received from Mashpee Commons Limited <br /> Partnership requesting the Board approve the two-day Oktoberfest <br /> application for the sale of beer and wine on October 6'and 7't', 2001. <br /> Melinda Gallant,the licensee was present to discuss the license <br /> application for the sale of beer and wine only with members of the Board <br /> of Selectmen. It was noted that the celebration is an annual town-wide <br /> r event. <br /> r Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the application of <br /> Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership for the Two-Day <br /> Oktoberfest celebration on the dates of October 6th and 7th, 2001 for <br /> the sale of beer and wine only under the tent at Mashpee Commons. <br /> Motions seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille abstained. <br />
