Regglar and Executive Sessions: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the Regular and <br /> Executive Session minutes of Monday, September 24,2001 as <br /> fpresented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Marsters absent for vote. <br /> Monday, October 1, 2001 Regular Session: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the Regular Session <br /> minutes of Monday, October 1, 2001 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Marsters absent for vote. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> David Bailey—Revaluation Update: <br /> David Bailey, Director of Assessing was present to update the Selectmen <br /> on the residential valuations recently approved by the Department of <br /> Revenue. The new real estate valuations are available at the Assessing <br /> Department in Town Hall, the Library and via the Internet at the Town's <br /> website www.mis@ci.mashpee,m . <br /> Mr. Bailey indicated that residential property values have increased an <br /> average of 60%. Since the 1999 revaluation, land has doubled and tripled <br /> in value. As a result of higher valuations, a reduction in the tax rate is <br /> anticipated. The tax bills are scheduled to be mailed late December. <br />
