The $97 , 020 for articles was for those deemed <br /> to be the most critical . <br /> Article #2 Personnel Administration Plan <br /> including a 6 percent cost of living increase $50 , 651 <br /> Article #7 to fund contract between the town <br /> and DPW 26 , 479 <br /> Article #57 appropriate funds for signs limiting <br /> speed in Ockway Bay 2 , 500 <br /> Article #64-68 and #70 & 71 12 , 390 <br /> These are the Human Services articles <br /> Argticle #53 Harbormaster Clerk 5 , 000 <br /> $97 , 020 <br /> The $97 , 020 for the above articles was voted and approved <br /> by majority vote with. Ton Gallo opposing . <br /> Chairman Heller noted that the Human Service articles would <br /> be amended so that money appropriated to these agencies would not <br /> be paid until a contract had been received by the town stating <br /> financial details . <br /> Carl also noted that he could not support Article #38 <br /> as it would establish a precedent . This article seeks town <br /> vote to establish a rate of compensation of $100 per month for <br /> Planning Board members . Carl noted that he would like to <br /> propose the following motion for town meeting : <br /> I move the town authorize and direct the Moderator <br /> to appoint five (5) residents of the town , none of <br /> whom shall be town employees or hold elected or <br /> appointed town office to examine the level of <br /> compensation given elected boards and the issue <br /> of whether other members of other elected , or <br /> appointed boards , committtees should be compensated <br /> and further that the study committee report to the <br /> 1990 annual town meeting its recommendations . <br /> I <br /> 1 <br />
