The $97 , 020 for articles was for those deemed to be the most critical . Article #2 Personnel Administration Plan including a 6 percent cost of living increase $50 , 651 Article #7 to fund contract between the town and DPW 26 , 479 Article #57 appropriate funds for signs limiting speed in Ockway Bay 2 , 500 Article #64-68 and #70 & 71 12 , 390 These are the Human Services articles Argticle #53 Harbormaster Clerk 5 , 000 $97 , 020 The $97 , 020 for the above articles was voted and approved by majority vote with. Ton Gallo opposing . Chairman Heller noted that the Human Service articles would be amended so that money appropriated to these agencies would not be paid until a contract had been received by the town stating financial details . Carl also noted that he could not support Article #38 as it would establish a precedent . This article seeks town vote to establish a rate of compensation of $100 per month for Planning Board members . Carl noted that he would like to propose the following motion for town meeting : I move the town authorize and direct the Moderator to appoint five (5) residents of the town , none of whom shall be town employees or hold elected or appointed town office to examine the level of compensation given elected boards and the issue of whether other members of other elected , or appointed boards , committtees should be compensated and further that the study committee report to the 1990 annual town meeting its recommendations .
