2
Board of Selectmen
Minutes
November 5, 2001
Y APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS:
Y Leisure Services—Rec Trac (Computer Program) Demonstration:
Gus Fredericks, Leisure Services Director presented an overview of the
Rec Trac, a computerized recreation registration program used by the
department to streamline the overall registration process.
Rec Trac is a tracking system which processes transactions, activity
rosters, budgetary items and statistical reporting. The single data base
avoids duplication and assists the department with the timely registration
process.
Mr. Frederick recommended the Board consider integrating the Rec Trac
program with the Town's upcoming and new software program for the
benefit of other departments.
Cemetery Discussion:
Cemetery Commission members Leigh Potter, William C. Mills and Paul
Averett indicated that they would move forward to review the proposed
plans and rules for the operation of the Mashpee Town Cemeteries.
It was agreed that public meetings would be scheduled to allow input and
review to the proposed Town of Mashpee Master-Cemetery document
prior to the Selectmen's review and implementation.
Selectman Green is the Selectman liaison to the Cemetery Commission.
The Board of Selectmen set priority to complete the review in a timely
manner.
1
1
