6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 17, 2000 <br /> CIP Review: <br /> School: (continued) <br /> Siding at High School $38,000 <br /> The estimate would stain the wood at the high school due to weathering <br /> or replace the wood with low maintenance vinyl siding. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to accept the recommendation <br /> to expend S38,000 for replacement vinyl siding. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: 4-1. Motion carries. <br /> Selectman Marsters in opposition. <br /> Replace Van $26,000 <br /> The van would replace a school vehicle with approximately 200,000 <br /> miles and be used for special education transport. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Blythe to support the recommendation <br /> of the CIP to purchase a replacement van as described. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Town Hall <br /> Phase II Upper Level Office Design $30,000 <br /> The phase 11 study is intended to create additional office space in the <br /> upper level of the Town Hall facility. Included in the estimate is the <br /> design for a storage facility in the basement of Town Hall. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Blythe to deny the request to conduct <br /> Phase H of the upper level of Town Hall at this time. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
