7 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 17, 2000 <br /> CIP Review: <br /> Cemetery <br /> Cemetery Feasibility Study $20,000 <br /> A feasibility study for the design, development and business program <br /> for the creation of a new Town cemetery. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the feasibility <br /> and design study for the creation of a new Town Cemetery as <br /> recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Mr. Whritenour discussed the analysis of debt outside 2 '/2 and total <br /> net debt service of the Town from 1998—2006. He requested input from <br /> the Board with respect to determining appropriate levels of debt service <br /> for the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Members of the Finance Committee indicated that they would take the <br /> primary lead to review this matter with the Town Accountant after the <br /> completion of budget recommendations for fiscal year 2001. <br /> The Selectmen reviewed the FY01 budget preparation by line item. The <br /> following issues were reviewed and considered. <br /> Fire Department—Medical Supplies and Overtime supported. <br /> Police Department—Memorandum of 2/15/00 was deferred for additional <br /> review. <br /> Trash—Recommendation of$903,488 was agreed upon. <br /> Council on Aging—New position, full-time clerical supported. <br /> Health—Professional/Technical —Human Service position, full-time. <br />
