Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 27, 2000 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Request for Mashpee Commons Security Personnel to issue Parking <br /> Tickets: (continued) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint(5)Mashpee <br /> Commons Security Personnel as Parking Control Officers for <br /> the Town of Mashpee, and approve the(5) recommended criteria <br /> for violations'as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: 4-1. Motion carries. <br /> Selectman Taylor in opposition. <br /> The cost of the parking violation tickets will be negotiated with <br /> Mashpee Commons. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing—Earl Cash Taxi License: <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> Earl Norwood Cash, Jr., d/b/a Eagle Taxi, for a Taxi License to operate <br /> at 12 Terry Avenue,Mashpee. <br /> i <br /> Joyce Mason, Assistant Town Administrator read aloud the Public <br /> Hearing notice as published. Earl Cash was present to discuss the <br /> license application with the Board. <br /> It was noted that the Town of Mashpee has (2) Taxi Licenses to date. <br /> This includes the All Village Taxi operated by John Bartolomei, Jr. and <br /> Upper Cape Transportation Corp., d/b/a Mashpee Taxi operated by <br /> James A. Morgan. <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing to obtain comment. <br /> James Morgan related support with respect to the application of Mr. Cash <br /> for a taxi license to operate Eagle Taxi in the Town of Mashpee. <br />
