IVIA 02549 <br /> FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES <br /> Kashpee Middle School <br /> May 6th, 1991 <br /> Present: Carole Dunivan, John Ferriday, Tony Gallo, Deirdre Greelish, <br /> Carl Heller and Jim Vaccaro <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6 p.m. in the Faculty Room of the <br /> Mashpee Middle School. The first order of business was approval of Committee <br /> minutes. Carl motioned that the minutes of April 9th be approved as submitted. <br /> This motion was seconded by Tony Gallo and there was a unanimous vote .of <br /> approval. Tony motioned that the minutes of the April 29th meeting be <br /> approved as submitted. Carl seconded this motion and there was unanimous <br /> approval. Jim noted a change to the minutes of April 30th. 'He requested <br /> that John Ferriday's name be included in the last paragraph of page one. <br /> Carl motioned that the amended minutes of the April 30th meeting be approved <br /> and Tony seconded. There was a unanimous vote of approval. <br /> Deirdre and John reported on their efforts to secure information from <br /> the school department regarding purchase orders and encumbrances. John <br /> noted that the information he had received was not really of any help as <br /> it listed the purchase orders and the company names but not items purchased. <br /> John informed the Committee that he had made a formal request to the school <br /> for information on purchase orders and encumbrances. <br /> Deirdre motioned that the Finance Committee rescind their action of <br /> April 29th which added$2,100 to the Salary/Wage Account Line item #56. <br /> This motion would make the Harbormaster Salary/Wage Account $23,300. <br /> Carole seconded this motion and the motion carried with '5 votes in favor <br /> and one opposed. The opposing vote was cast by Jim. The bottom line <br /> of the Harbormaster FY92 budget is now $31,600. <br /> Carole motioned that the Finance Committee approve the $33,360 for <br /> the PAP Article #3. This article had been previously approved however now <br /> the figure of $33,360 was the firm figure for the article. Tony Gallo <br /> seconded and there was unanimous approval. <br /> The Fire Chief has requested a transfer within his FX92 budget. This <br /> transfer would take $10,000 from the salary account and put it in the expense <br /> account. Carole motioned that the Committee approve and Tony seconded. <br /> Finance Committee members unanimously recommended. <br /> i <br />
