1] <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 10, 2000 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> 10-Acre Site Vote: <br /> The Selectmen reviewed the amended agreement between the Town of <br /> Mashpee and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts dated June 29, 1981 <br /> for the acquisition of the South Cape Beach. <br /> The Agreement as reflected in Item (17) reserves a suitable site on Great <br /> River, Waquoit Bay for future use and development by the Town of <br /> Mashpee for the construction of a boat launch/pier facility. The area is to <br /> be no less than ten acres with access to and from Wills Work Road. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cabalane to direct the South Cape Beach <br /> Advisory Committee to pursue the 10-Acre Site as agreed upon with <br /> the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1981. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Appointment to the Historical Commission: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Historical Commission dated <br /> March 17, 2000 recommending the appointment of Miriam Estrella to fill <br /> the present vacancy. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to appoint Miriam Estrella to <br /> the Historical Commission as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
