10 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 10, 2000 <br /> Public Hearin — Upper Cape Trans ortation Co . —Violations and <br /> Continuance of Livery License Hearing: (continued) <br /> James Morgan was present to discuss the above referenced matters with <br /> the Board of Selectmen. The complaints of the violations were remitted to <br /> Mr. Morgan in a memorandum from the Assistant Town Administrator <br /> dated April 3, 2000. Mr. Morgan responded to the violations in a <br /> memorandum to the Selectmen dated April 4,.2000, <br /> Sergeant Umina of the Mashpee Police Department discussed the subject <br /> with the Board. A memorandum dated March 10, 2000 from Sergeant <br /> Umina to the Selectmen dated March 10, 2000 was submitted in the <br /> informational packet provided for review. The allegations were discussed. <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Hearing to obtain comment. <br /> Representatives from RC's Limousine and J. P. Transportation, Inc. <br /> agreed that the Selectmen should further study the issue of Livery <br /> Licenses within the Town of Mashpee and set policy. <br /> Mr. Morgan added that whatever is determined, it should be applied to all <br /> Livery License holders. <br /> Being no further comment, the Board motioned to close the Public <br /> Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to issue a stern warning to <br /> Upper Cape Transportation Corporation. For the record, there are <br /> no penalties on the license holder for the alleged violations. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Motion trade by Selectman Cahalane to deny the request of Upper <br /> Cape Transportation Corporation for a Livery License. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
