b <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 24, 2000 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Correspondence from Police Department-re- Citizen Complaint: <br /> Correspondence was received from Chief Przybylek dated <br /> _ April 3, 2000 relative to a letter of complaint received by the Board of <br /> Selectmen from a Mashpee resident regarding inappropriate activities at <br /> the Town Landing on Santuit Pond. <br /> The Selectmen agreed to post signage limiting access to daylight hours <br /> and increase directed patrol for the area as recommended. <br /> Board of Health—Transfer Station: <br /> Elias McQuaid, Board of Health Agent remitted correspondence to the <br /> Board in a memorandum dated April 7, 2000 relative to the operation of <br /> the Transfer Station. <br /> In response, the Selectmen agreed to conduct a workshop session with the <br /> Board of Health in early May to discuss the management of the entire <br /> waste stream in the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Pride in Cane Cod—Clean Up Efforts: <br /> Recognition was given to the Department of Public Works under the <br /> guidance of the Board of Health in their clean up efforts in conjunction <br /> with the Pride in Cape Cod clean up process. Appreciation was also <br /> directed to Coastal Waste Management and the many volunteers who <br /> devoted time to assist in the beautification of Mashpee. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Approval of DPW Work on Wheeler Road: <br /> The above referenced project was withdrawn at this time. <br />
