3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 24, 2000 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Review and Execution of Contract—Pavement Management Pro am: <br /> Greg Taylor requested the Board employ the services of Vanasse <br /> Hangen Brustlin, Inc. to update the Town's pavement management <br /> system. The scope of work includes 120 miles of pavement condition <br /> evaluations, a software upgrade, and associated meetings. The estimated <br /> compensation is $25,725. <br /> It was noted that the Massachusetts Highway Department(MHD) has <br /> approved the use of Chapter 90 funds for said purpose. It is also necessary <br /> to employ the services of municipal staff in the future to input additional <br /> data pertaining to pavement management. The new software upgrade will <br /> assist in management decisions and target future road improvement <br /> projects. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the Agreement for <br /> Professional Services between the Town of Mashpee and Vanasse <br /> Hangen Brustlin, Inc. in the amount of$25,725 for the Roadway <br /> Management System with the provision that prior to implementation, <br /> a project plan and ongoing action plan on maintaining the data base <br /> will be presented to the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearin ,DCMD; Inc., d/b/a Deer Crossing Market&Deli: <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> DCMD, Inc., d/b/a Deer Crossing Market&Deli, 681. Falmouth Road, <br /> Mashpee for an Annual All Alcohol Restaurant License. <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced Public Hearing. <br /> Joyce Mason, Assistant Town Administrator read aloud the Public <br /> Hearing notice as published. David Carboneau, owner/manager was <br /> present to discuss the license application with the Board of Selectmen. <br />
