14 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 22, 2000 <br /> Request for 111F Benefits Robert Palermo: <br /> Correspondence was received from Chief Przybylek dated <br /> May 11, 2000 recommending the approval of 111F Benefits. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve benefits under MGL, <br /> Chapter 41, Section 111F for Patrol Officer Robert Palermo as <br /> recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Sign Request from 4H Club_: <br /> The Barnstable 414 Youth and Family Development Program remitted <br /> communication to the Board in a memorandum dated May 16, 2000 <br /> requesting to place signage at the rotary to announce the annual 4H <br /> auction on Friday,June 16, 2000. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to accept the request of the 4H <br /> Club for(3)signs at the Mashpee rotary from Friday, June 9,2000 to <br /> Friday,June 16, 2000. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: 4-1. Motion carries. <br /> Selectman Cahalane in opposition. <br /> The Board agreed to set policy with respect to future signage requests. <br /> The number of days to be advertised, appropriate sign design and size will <br /> be considered. <br /> Request of Christ the King Church—One-day License: <br /> A one-day liquor license was requested by Christ the King Church for the <br /> reception following the concert by the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra. <br /> The event is scheduled to be held on June 11, 2000. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the request of Christ <br /> the King Church for a one-day liquor license as stipulated. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
