Appropriate or transfer the sum of <br /> $5, 145. 59 to pay previous fiscal year unpaid bills that were <br /> submitted by various departments after the close of the previous <br /> year. <br /> Article 8: Recommended. Amend the Zoning Bylaw by amending <br /> Subsection 174-24 C. (6) to change the phrase "not less than forty- <br /> five days" in the first sentence to read "not less than twenty-one <br /> days, " , or take any other action thereto. <br /> Article 9: Recommended. Amend the Zoning Bylaw by adding the phrase <br /> "or permits for those persons described in Subsection (4) (a) below" <br /> after the phrase "from the provisions of this section" in the third <br /> sentence of Sec 174-26.D. (3 ) , of any other action relating thereto. <br /> Article 12: Recommended. This Article would allow three parcels of <br /> land be placed under Conservation Commission management so that <br /> they can become an integral part of the Johns Pond Park <br /> Conservation Area. <br /> Article 14: Recommended. Transfer surplus funds into the Town's <br /> Stabilization Account for future capital needs. <br /> Article 15: Not recommended. Transfer from available funds a sum <br /> of money to increase the hours of the Harbormaster to better serve <br /> the town. <br /> Article 16: Not recommended. Transfer from available funds the sum <br /> of $1,600 to hire one Waterways Assistant for the months of May and <br /> June 1993 , or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Article 18: Recommended. Raise and appropriate or transfer from <br /> available funds a sum of money to be used by the Cape Cod and <br /> Massachusetts Bays Task Force to hire legal and or scientific <br /> consultants to pursue legal action to ensure that the water quality <br /> of Cape Cod and Massachusetts Bays will not be adversely affected <br /> by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority's proposed outfall <br /> tunnel. NOTE: Fincomm members agreed to recommend matching up to <br /> $5,000. <br /> Article 19: Not recommended. This Article allows the Board of <br /> Selectmen, when a town way is laid out, relocated or altered, to <br /> enter upon the private way to lay sewers and/or water pipes therein <br /> before possession is taken for the purpose of constructing such <br /> way. <br /> Article 20: Recommended. Appropriate or transfer from available <br /> funds the sum of $972 for the printing of 100 new zoning books, or <br /> take any action thereon. <br /> Article 21: Recommended. This Article is in regards to when a <br /> person is appointed by the Board of Selectmen to any positiion <br /> shall be sworn to the faithful performance of his duties by the <br /> Town Clerk prior to assuming his/her position. Once a person is so <br /> sworn, it shall not be necessary in any subsequent year where the <br /> same person is reappointed to the same position to again be sworn <br /> in. <br /> Article 22: Recommended. Allows the town to adopt a quarterly tax <br /> payment system to be effective in FY94 . <br /> Article 23: Recommended. Appropriate $5,000 for the Mashpee Water <br /> District, for past services rendered to the Town, as stated in the <br />
