• 8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 22, 2000 <br /> Town Meeting Warrant Review: <br /> Article#32: Amend Zoning Bylaw—Rebuilding Historic Structures <br /> To allow for the reconstruction of pre-1945 structures <br /> within the historic town center around Town Hall in an <br /> effort to protect and enhance the historical character of the <br /> old town center area. <br /> Article#33: Amend Zoning Bylaw—Home Occupation <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to defer the above referenced <br /> article to the May 2001 Town Meeting. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Article 434: Amend Zoning Bylaw—IC Overlay District <br /> To expand the boundaries of the IC Overlay District, which <br /> allows certain low-impact retail uses in a portion of the I-1 <br /> Industrial zone, to include an additional lot in the Mashpee <br /> Industrial Park. <br /> Article#35. Amend Zoning Bylaw— Section 174 <br /> The article would convert two existing C-2 commercial <br /> districts to new"Limited Commercial"districts intended to <br /> allow commercial uses which would have less impact on <br /> the Town's roadways, environment and visual character. <br /> The article lists the uses that would be permitted, clarifies <br /> the types of commercial recreation and entertainment <br /> facilities allowed in commercial districts, and provides that <br /> any permits required in the C-3 districts be issued by the <br /> Planning Board. <br />
