6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 10, 2000 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Correspondence from Peninsula Council, Inc. <br /> Correspondence was received from Peninsula Council, Inc., property <br /> owners of New Seabury dated September 21, 2000 relative to the seasonal <br /> resident informational forum. <br /> Recommendations as set forth by Peninsula Council for the Selectmen's <br /> consideration include; the spring sweeping of New Seabury roads next <br /> year and henceforth, the review of alternate drop off and pick up points for <br /> the YMCA summer camp program, and the urgent need to open the <br /> unimproved section of Daniels Island Road from Wading Place Road to <br /> By the Greenway in the matter of safety. <br /> The above issues will be considered and further reviewed. Price proposals <br /> will be requested from the Director of Public Works with regards to street <br /> sweeping. <br /> Announcements: <br /> The 25t'Anniversary of Cape Cod United Church Homes referred to as <br /> The Mashpee Village was recently celebrated. <br /> The Selectmen were in receipt of a plaque in appreciation for the <br /> dedication and success of the Edward C.
