1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 16, 2000 <br /> Present: Selectman Cahalane, Selectman Taylor, <br /> Selectman Marsters, Selectman Green <br /> Town Administrator Robert Whritenour <br /> Assistant Town Administrator Joyce Mason <br /> Absent: Selectman Leveille <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Vice-Chairman Cahalane at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Mondax October 2, 2000 Regular Session: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the Regular <br /> Session minutes of Monday, October 2, 2000 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Comment: <br /> None at this time. <br /> Barnstable County Commissioners: <br /> Barnstable County Commissioner and Mashpee resident, Mary LeClair <br /> was present with Mark Zylinski, Interim County Administrator to update <br /> the Board on County services relative to Mashpee and to review the <br /> proposed Charter change initiatives. <br /> Marcia King, Mashpee's representative to the Assembly of Delegates and <br /> Lance Lambros, Democratic candidate for the Barnstable County <br /> Commissioners were in attendance. <br /> Mr. Zylinski gave an overview of County services and use of Regional <br /> Project funds. Several services benefiting Mashpee include;the County <br /> dredge,public health services for tick and lyme disease education and <br /> outreach, wellness programs, human services, the AmeriCorps program, <br /> and health and environmental improvements and programs. <br />
