16 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 30, 2000 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Discussion of Park Bids: <br /> Four landscaping proposals were received for the development of the <br /> Mashpee Community Park in response to the Request for Proposal <br /> deadline of October 6, 2000. <br /> The Board agreed to further review the design proposal and consider <br /> phasing landscape development initiatives to reflect lower bid quotations. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Appointment of Skilled Laborer—DPW: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Personnel Administrator dated <br /> October 23, 2000 recommending a Mashpee resident to the position of <br /> skilled laborer. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to appoint Jeffrey Furtado to the <br /> position of Skilled Laborer to the DPW contingent upon a pre- <br /> employment physical as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Acceptance of Resignation Cable Committee: <br /> The above referenced matter was deferred. The committee member, <br /> Joseph Dellagala is reconsidering the position. <br /> Approval of Pole Location—Pimlico Pond Road: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve Bell Atlantic Petition <br /> 00-4� for(3)jointly owned pole locations on Pimlico Pond Road with <br /> 4%letail officer as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> `COTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> i <br /> 1 <br />
