Page 3
discussed it. Mr. Goggin stated that if the revenue received for
May and June is in excess of $375,000, then Ms. Rommelmeyer
suspects that the actual revenues will exceed their estimates by
$400,000 or $500,000. Ms. Greelish mentioned that they hadn't yet
received the figure from Anne Shaw on the tax receipts.
Mr. Goggin asked the recording secretary to write a memo to Jane
LaBute requesting in writing the date each Finance Committee member
took office and the date that their term would expire, and to have
that information for the committee's next meeting.
The Finance Committee requested that Mr. Ferriday contact Dr.
Lincoln ❑eMoura to discuss the left over finances from their line
items. Members would like the School Department to equip and
outfit the new addition with the excess funding. Mr. Goggin stated
that it didn't make sense to bond for equipment. Mr. Ferriday also
agreed that it didn't make sense fiscally to do so. He agreed to
contact Dr. DeMoura to discuss the Committee's concerns and report
to the members at the next meeting.
Members agreed that the next meeting will be held on Tuesday, June
22, 1993 at 7:OOPM. They also agreed to hold their meetings on the
second and fourth Tuesday of each month. The meeting adjourned at
8:45PM. Jean M. Mooney was the recording secretary.
