' S <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 13, 2000 <br /> Grant Request—Economic Development: <br /> Wayne Duchemin, the Economic Development Coordinator was present to <br /> request the Selectmen approve the grant application to the Massachusetts <br /> Department of Housing and Community Development for funding towards <br /> the development of the Executive/Industrial Park. <br /> It was noted that the Mashpee Industrial Park Trust donated the three-acre <br /> parcel, lot 29 to the Town. The area is expected to be developed under <br /> the guidance of the Mashpee ED1C ad hoc group according to Town <br /> specifications and requirements. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the Ready Resource <br /> Grant Application to the MA Department of Housing and Community <br /> Development for funding in the amount of$5,000 to develop the(3) <br /> acre parcel of land in the Mashpee Executive/Industrial Park. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Appointment to Conservation Commission: <br /> The Board received a letter of interest dated November 2, 2000 from <br /> Leonard Pinaud to serve on the Conservation Commission. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to appoint Leonard Pinaud as an <br /> Associate Member of the Conservation Commission. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Appointment of Mini-Van Drivers: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Personnel Administrator dated <br /> November 9, 2000 recommending the appointment of Michael Webb to <br /> the position of part-time Mini-Van Driver and Paul Arnold to the position <br /> of substitute Mini-Van Driver. <br /> The Selectmen agreed to defer approval of the above-recommended <br /> appointment. The qualifications of the additional candidates will be <br /> considered. <br />
