Page 2 <br /> ARTICLES <br /> The Finance Committee decided to review each of the articles only <br /> to decide what articles they felt should be taken off the warrant <br /> and which articles should remain. <br /> The Articles which the committee decided to eliminate are as <br /> follows: <br /> Article 15 - raise and appropriate $650 for the purpose of buying <br /> two telecommunications devices and $100 for installation into two <br /> town departments. <br /> Article 16 - raise and appropriate a sum of money from available <br /> funds to the school department's operating expense. <br /> Article 17 - raise and appropriate $15,000 to install a handicap <br /> bathroom at the Davis School. <br /> Article 19 - expanding the Personnel Administration Plan's Salary <br /> Schedule Appendix B so that five more steps be added (6-10) . <br /> Article 20 - funding the Board Secretary Account for secretarial <br /> services for the Economic Development Committee. The Finance <br /> Committee agreed that the funding should come from the money that <br /> was budgeted for that committee in the Board of Selectmen's budget <br /> or from the Board Secretary fund. <br /> Article 23 - amending Appendix B of the Personnel Board <br /> Administrations Plan. <br /> Article 24 - to transfer $24,286 to fund the existing position for <br /> Assistant Planner. <br /> Article 25 - Article for Harbormaster salary and benefits. <br /> Article 29 - Article for Historical Commission money. <br /> Article 31 - $5,000 to the Harbormaster Account to replace the old <br /> Harbormaster's boat. <br /> Article 32 - to see if the town will appropriate a sum of money to <br /> remove the foundation of the old Town Hall in the area of Heritage <br /> Park. <br /> Mr. Dunivan stated that he felt a statement should be proposed at <br /> the meeting Monday night with the Board of Selectmen. The Finance <br /> Committee feels that there are unnecessary Articles on the Warrant <br /> and explain their understanding of exactly what the October meeting <br /> should be about. Committee members agreed that Mr. Dunivan should <br /> write this statement. Ms. Greelish also agreed that the <br /> committee's first order of business should be regarding its policy <br />
