Page 4 <br /> There was a lengthy discussion about Article 21. Mr. York, <br /> Shellfish Constable, was in agreement with the Finance Committee <br /> that his truck be repaired. The Selectmen suggested his truck be <br /> be replaced, rather than repaired. Mr. Whritenour explained that <br /> he would like the new-truck to go to the Department of Public Works <br /> and take a used truck from their department for Mr. York. The <br /> Article will remain. The Finance Committee also expressed that <br /> they were opposed to Article 33. <br /> This ended the joint meeting with the Board of Selectmen. The <br /> Finance Committee returned to their meeting room to make their <br /> final recommendations of the Articles to be placed on the Warrant. <br /> Ms. Greelish explained that their recommendations would be passed <br /> on in the morning. They were in acceptance of Articles 3, 4, 5, 6, <br /> 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 1.2, 13, 14/15, 19, and 20. They opposed Articles <br /> 16, 18, 2.1, and 33.. There was still a question regarding Article <br /> 17, which Mr. Goggin and Mr. Whritenour were going to discuss at a <br /> later time. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9:45PM.
