Page 2 <br /> voted. Mr. Vaccaro responded to the Finance Committee that the <br /> Board of Selectmen were not comfortable about financing the septage <br /> plant inside 2 1/2. He explained that the Selectmen were prepared <br /> to use the money inside 2 1/2 for expenses that were coming and <br /> major capital needs they would use overrides. Mr. Goggin stated <br /> that he felt the town would have the monies available. Mr. Vaccaro <br /> stated that the Board of Selectmen would Motion to recommend the <br /> Article as written in the Warrant but add the words Intermunicipal <br /> .Agreement being executed. The issue was only whether it would be <br /> funded inside or outside 2 1/2. The Selectmen agreed that the <br /> Motion would be read to include the Intermunicipal Agreement being <br /> signed and it would not give Selectmen authority to go outside 2 <br /> 1/2 without first getting the vote of the town at a later meeting. <br /> The Finance Committee was agreeable to this. <br /> Next the group discussed Article 15. Mr. Goggin explained that the <br /> Finance Committee could not get a unanimous vote either for or <br /> against this Article. Mr. Vaccaro stated that the Selectmen were <br /> recommending this Article. Dan Goggin asked Ms. Rommelmeyer again, <br /> to inform the Selectmen, where the monies would go if not directly <br /> to the school? Again, Ms. Rommelmeyer explained that they would go <br /> into the General Fund. The Finance Committee took a vote prior to <br /> exiting the joint meeting and voted to NOT give the money to the <br /> school, but let it revert back to the General Fund. Dan Goggin, <br /> Deirdre Greelish, Denise Sullivan and John Ferriday in approval. <br /> Tony Gallo opposing and Marcia King abstaining. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 7: 20PM.
