EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> NOVEMBER 30, 1993 <br /> MEETING COMMENCED AT 10: 10PM <br /> Members Present: Dan Goggin, Chairman; Deirdre Greelish; John <br /> Ferriday; Denise Sullivan; And Marcia King. <br /> John Ferriday MOTIONED to go into Executive Session at 10:10PM. <br /> Deirdre Greelish seconded the Motion. John Ferriday voted yes. <br /> Deirdre Greelish voted yes. Dan Goggin voted yes. Denise Sullivan <br /> voted yes. Marcia King voted yes. <br /> Mr. Griffith was questioned again about the $390,000 contingency <br /> fee? He explained that the contingency fee was set up because <br /> there was some speculation that in the future there would some <br /> possible litigation in regard to the Route 130 site. Mr. <br /> Whritenour felt that it would be helpful to plan ahead for the <br /> legal fees., in the budget. The school , the Building Committee <br /> expects, should only cost $27. 3 million to build. Mr. Griffith <br /> also stated that the Route 130 site is appraised at $740,000 and is <br /> assessed at 1.4 million. The 151 site is appraised at 600 ,000 and <br /> assessed at 1. 2 million. <br /> Deirdre Greelish asked what happens to the excess money if the town <br /> approves the 151 site over the 130 site? Mr. Griffith stated that <br /> $200,000 will still be used for legal costs. Mr. Griffith <br /> suggested that after the town meeting the Building Committee, <br /> Finance Committee and Board of Selectmen should have a meeting. <br /> Executive Session adjourned at 10:20 PM.
