Page 6 <br /> $12,000 is for defibrilating equipment for the ambulance. He <br /> explained that some of this would possibly come from ambulance <br /> receipts. There is approximately $40,000 coming from this account. <br /> BUILDING INSPECTOR - Mr. Whritenour explained that what was <br /> requested was a full time building inspector and a full time clerk. <br /> The Selectmen did not agree to fund the clerk and have recommended <br /> a local inspector at 15 hours per week allotment. <br /> Ms_ Greelish-asked•why-janitors-are-using•ex-police'cruisers? And, <br /> are they taking them home at night? Mr. Whritenour answered that <br /> it is only one car and vehicle use is a _separate,issue and.-is,,,being <br /> studied. <br /> Ms. Greelish also asked how many waterways assistants are the <br /> Selectmen recommending and which budget is coming from? No <br /> response noted. <br /> Mr. Whritenour noted a change to the Cape Cod Tech Account or <br /> $28,000. The Selectmen were recommending $504 ,657 for the new <br /> figure. <br /> DPW - Ms. King had a question about Greg Taylor, Director, and his <br /> salary. Mr. Whritenour . explained that it would be looked into. <br /> Ms. Greelish informed that Committee that he has had a 34% increase <br /> in pay since 1991. There <br /> is no part time clerk in the salaries. Ms. Greelish asked if the <br /> health agents were getting a the 2% increases? Mr. Whritenour <br /> stated that yes this was in the Selectmen's recommendation. <br /> PUBLIC ASSISTANCE - The Selectmen are recommending $15,500 in that <br /> line item. <br /> LIBRARY - Mr. Whritenour mentioned that it was a shame that there <br /> was a significant difference in salaries of the town librarians and <br /> the school librarians. <br /> LEISURE SERVICES - Mr. Whritenour stated that lifeguards were <br /> remaining the same. <br /> MEDICAL INSURANCE - Mr:-FGogg n recommended`tfiat this should g oo ut- <br /> to-bj:d �- <br />
