cnt <br /> MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> MARCH 30, 1994 <br /> MEETING COMMENCED AT 6:45PN <br /> Members Present: Deirdre Greelish, Vice Chairman; Denise Sullivan; <br /> John Ferriday; Marcia King and Tony Gallo. Roger Dunivan and Dan <br /> Goggin were unable to attend. <br /> Please note for the record that the taping of this meeting was for <br /> the transcription of the Minutes only. Once the Minutes are <br /> approved, the tapes will be reused. <br /> There were two departments scheduled to meet with the Finance <br /> Committee to discuss their budgets. They were scheduled and met in <br /> this order, Board of Health and the Department of Public Works. <br /> The School councils for the Coombs School and the Middle School <br /> were also invited to attend the meeting. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Denise Sullivan MOTIONED to accept the Minutes of March 22, 1994 as <br /> written. John Ferriday seconded the Motion and members approved <br /> the Minutes 5-0 as written. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> There was a memo written to the Finance Committee from John T. <br /> Doherty, Chairman, Board of Health, requesting an increase of <br /> $3 ,268 for the Human Services Account. The second item mentioned <br /> in the memo is in regard to the Department's vehicle. Mr. Doherty <br /> asks for a response to what is more cost effective, the purchase of <br /> a new vehicle or maintaining the current vehicle which has 105,000 <br /> miles. <br /> Other correspondence consisted of memos in which the Finance <br /> Committee approved and sent. These included a memo to Dr. DeMoura <br /> requesting certain data provided at his budget meetings; a memo to <br /> the School Council, School Principals and the School Committee <br /> informing them of the Finance Committee's recommendation and an <br /> invitation to the meeting of 3/30; a memo to Anne Shaw requesting <br /> the latest tax collection worksheet; a memo to Diane Rommelmeyer <br /> requesting a copy of the Revenue Ledger through March 25, 1994; and <br /> lastly a letter in which Ms. Greelish prepared to be sent to the <br /> Enterprise regarding the School's misappropriation of funds. The <br /> Finance Committee agreed that this last piece of correspondence <br /> should be sent under Ms. Greelish's own name and not under the <br /> heading of the Finance Committee. <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Steve Ball, Board of Health Member, was present at the meeting on <br /> behalf of the Department. Ms. Greelish asked Mr. Ball to clarify <br />
