• MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> SEPTEMBER 13 , 1994 <br /> MEETING COMMENCED AT 6:40PM <br /> Members present: Dan Goggin, Chairman; Marcia King, Vice Chairman; <br /> Juan Bacigalupi; Denise Sullivan; John Ferriday and Tony Gallo. <br /> Please note for the record that the taping of this meeting was for <br /> the transcription of the Minutes only. Once the Minutes are <br /> approved, the tapes will be reused. <br /> MINUTES <br /> John Ferriday MOTIONED to accept the Minutes of August 16th, August <br /> 25th and August 31, 1994 as written. Marcia King seconded the <br /> Motion and members approved the Minutes as written 5-0. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Mr. Goggin asked that a memorandum be sent to Joseph Dellagala, <br /> Chairman of the Personnel Board thanking them for the information <br /> they provided regarding the Town's PAP employees. The Finance <br /> Committee had previously requested that the Personnel Board provide <br /> them with a list of the PAP employees' positions, grades, hours and <br /> salaries. <br /> Mr. Goggin also circulated notices regarding Mashpee's 125th <br /> Anniversary. Joanne M. Ferragamo at the Mashpee Archives was <br /> requesting old photographs, posters, documents, etc. The second <br /> notice was an invitation to a reception for the new Mashpee Middle <br /> School Principal, Bob Tippo. The reception is being held at the <br /> Popponesset Inn on Monday, September 19th from 3 :30PM to 5: 30PM. <br /> Ms. King also provided a memo which was sent to the School <br /> Committee from Dr. DeMoura advising them that Diane Price has <br /> stated that the Middle School addition will be approved for <br /> reimbursement next fiscal year. Mashpee is presently fifth on the <br /> list. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> The Finance Committee was introduced to Steven Maloney. Mr. <br /> Maloney has sent his resume to the Committee in hopes of becoming <br /> a newly appointed member. The Finance Committee members had <br /> previously reviewed Mr. Maloney's resume and qualifications. Mr. <br /> Goggin informed Mr. Maloney that the Committee would discuss his <br /> becoming a member and get back to him. <br /> Deirdre Greelish, member of the Taxpayers' Association, was present <br /> • at the meeting and discussed the possibility of Mashpee privatizing <br /> its ambulance service. She explained that the Taxpayers' <br /> Association is studying the privatization and will continue to <br />
