Town of Mashpee
16 Great Neck Poad Jlrorth
Mashpee, Massachusetts 0.2649
Memorandum
To: Board of Selectmen
From: Joyce M. Mason, Chairman, Fire Station Building Committe Vl
Date: January 11, 1999
Re: Designer Selection
The Fire Station Building committee has reviewed the proposals submitted
for architect/designer services for the renovation/addition to the Fire
Station. The Committee interviewed four firms and conducted a
comprehensive review of the references provided. Members of the
Committee also visited projects completed by the finalists for an on-site
review of their work.
As a result of the above and in accordance with the Designer Selection
Criteria, the Building Committee is providing the Board of Selectmen with
three recommended firms listed in rank order.
1. Wallace, Floyd, Associates Inc.
2. Charles J. Nafie & Associates
3. Allen M. Lieb Architects
The Building Committee requests that the Board of Selectmen designate
Wallace, Floyd, Associates Inc. as the selected architect; and authorize
the Building Committee along with the Executive Secretary to negotiate
a fee for services and other appropriate terms and conditions in order to
prepare a contract to be submitted to the Board for approval and
execution.
Thank you for your time and consideration of this matter.
