Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 7 <br /> January 11, 1999 <br /> OLD BU <br /> Oven Space Committee-_Discussion of Additional Appointments: <br /> (continued) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to extend an invitation to the <br /> Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Tribal Council to serve on the <br /> Open Space Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> The Tribal Council appointment would fill the recent vacancy created by the <br /> resignation of George Costa. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint; <br /> Anne Shaw and Diane Rommelmeyer as ex-officio members of the <br /> Open Space Committee. <br /> .Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to allow Mr. Whritenour to remain on the <br /> Open Space Committee as a full voting member. It was noted that the <br /> appointment of Mrs. Kane will allow the representation of a Planning Board <br /> member on the committee since she has been nominated to serve as an <br /> associate member of the Planning Board. The letters of interest as received <br /> from David Nichols and Mary Scanlon shall be retained on file. <br /> The membership as voted includes; (2) Selectmen, (3) citizens, (1) Water <br /> District Commissioner, (1) Conservation Commission member, (1) Town <br /> Administrator. <br /> Fire i n i1 iCommittee -Designer el ti n� <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above topic as <br /> an agenda item of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5--0. <br />
