5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 22, 1999 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Amendment No. 1 to A eement with STG Consulting.Services: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve Amendment No. 1 to <br /> the contract between STG Consultant Services and the Town of <br /> Mashpee for technical services relating to the administration of the <br /> FY97 Ready Resource Fund Program in the amount of$5,100, and <br /> extend the"Time of Performance: to April 30, 1999 to cover grant <br /> Close-Out Reporting. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveillc. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> It was noted that the above agreement is 100%grant funded. <br /> A eement with Barnstable Coppjy for Dredging Services: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the Agreement for <br /> Dredging Services between Barnstable County and the Town of <br /> Mashpee for Popponesset Bay as attached to the memorandum of <br /> February 11, 1999 for a maximum contract amount of 549,680, or <br /> not to exceed 12,000 cubic yards of material. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Acce Lance of Conservation Land: <br /> Tom Fudala,the Town Planner was present to recommend the Board <br /> accept the 26.8 acres of land within the South Mashpee Pine Barrens from <br /> Mr. Laurence Sullivan. <br /> It was noted that the Conservation Commission voted to accept the parcels <br /> that lie within the Wildlife Refuge. The largest parcel, 20.6 acres is a <br /> critical parcel for the protection and management of the Pine Barrens for <br /> control burning informed Mr. Fudala. <br />
