8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 8, 1999 <br /> Budget Review: <br /> Trash: <br /> It was noted that the Trash budget has increased as a result of additional <br /> tonnage that is shipped to SEMASS, the regional incinerator. Elias <br /> McQuaid,the Board of Health Agent indicated that it is difficult to <br /> accurately predict annual tonnage. <br /> It was noted that the expense budget has increased. The facility is opened <br /> on Tuesdays upon the request of the Selectmen. An additional $4,000 was <br /> added to the Landfill Maintenance Account which is mandated by DER <br /> For the Selectmen's consideration, the Board of Health presented a <br /> proposed article relative to an Intermunicipal Agreement with the Town of <br /> Bourne. <br /> Finance Committee: <br /> Several members of the Finance Committee were present to review the <br /> FY2000 budget with the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Board of Selectmen: <br /> The Office of the Board of Selectmen is in request of an additional <br /> Administrative Secretary. <br /> Medical Insurance: <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to obtain a complete breakdown of <br /> medical insurance costs for each department. <br /> Next Scheduled Budget Meetin own Meeting Warrant Review: <br /> Thursday, March 11, 1999 @ 6:30 p.m. <br />
