2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 15, 1999 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Fire Station Building Committee--Conceppial DesigLi Presentation: <br /> Fire Chief, George Baker indicated that the committee conducted due <br /> diligence to bring to the Selectmen, a design that meets the needs of the <br /> department, while working within budget parameters. It was noted that <br /> the firefighters are supportive of the conceptual design proposal. <br /> If approved by the Board,the committee will move forward with the <br /> conceptual schematic design to bring forth site elevations, construction <br /> materials, and additional schematics using available funds for the project <br /> scope. <br /> The Selectmen at the next scheduled budget meeting will further review <br /> the subject matter. An article appears on the Special Town Meeting <br /> warrant to fund the repair and renovation/construction of the Town's <br /> Central Fire Station, and to provide for the design of the South Mashpee <br /> satellite station. <br /> Public Hearing—Paradise Limo: <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> Theodore R. Dickerson, d/b/a Paradise Limousine, 299 Cotuit Road, <br /> Mashpee for a livery service license. <br /> Mrs. Mason, Assistant Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing <br /> notice as published. The notice as published contained an incorrect date <br /> for the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to continue the Public Hearing of <br /> Paradise Limo for the purpose of re-advertisement. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
